Many good reasons exist for reserving all of Sundance Bear Lodge.  Give us a call and let’s confer.  We have 7 bedrooms in 3 buildings.  We have 2 king beds, 5 queens, 2 singles, 1 double and 2 sofas.  Please plan early so that we can accommodate your preferred date(s).

How many different “excuses” can you list for gathering a group of friends together for a few days of fun, exploration, adventure and relaxation?

For example…

The family now lives  on the East Coast, West Coast and Texas..  No one wants to be the host family – it is too much work.  And you learn that few, if any, have seen the wonders of Colorado.  WOW!  Pack up the kids and plan a trip. Everyone does a little traveling to “meet in the middle”, and no one in the family is host. That means ALL get a vacation. Grandparents enjoy the lodge, while the grandchildren reign in the guest house; everyone gets enough sleep and enough fun!.  

Perhaps you are part of a fun group of gals who went to college together.  Why not get together every couple of years in a new spot and have an impromptu reunion? Leave the spouses and kids at home and come to Colorado! Mesa Verde is on the list of places to visit before you die – it’s an international heritage location.

Not all hunters want to sleep on the ground in the cold and wet. This may be good hunting weather – but creature comforts are important.

Planning a wedding? June is not reliable in the 4 Corners – too windy – but August – October are fantastic months.  Weddings don’t have to happen in the home town; they can be wherever the bride and groom dream to be!

Retreats are fun and educational and just far enough from home to be a mental getaway! Classes for artists.  Learn how to be a better board member on a non-profit organization. A sewing bee for a quilting group.  Learn scrapbooking.  Relax and have fun!

Here’s the deal:

• Nightly rate is $775 ($57 off the sum of the individual rooms)
• We can rent for one night ($70 cleaning fee applies).  
• But if you rent for two or more, we’ll cook your breakfast for all one morning and waive the cleaning fee.
